| songs Harmonica Club Harmonica Club.com began in June 2000 as a personal home page on free web space. At that time it wasn't a club. I used to record myself playing harmonica, write out harmonica tab and harmonica lessons, then post them on the internet. I ran out of songs and started encouraging people to e-mail their harmonica songs and harmonica tabs to me. ,This became popular and I began to have difficulty keeping up with the amount of submissions. I started learning to write web script and buying custom scripts so as to develop a site that folk could upload their own harmonica songs and harmonica tab to.,,There was no membership fees in those days, but the club ran into difficulty in June 2002 due to the cost of hosting such a large site, that and the rising cost of advertising as the internet develops.,,It was decided among the members that anyone who had put harmonica songs on the site would get free membership if they couldn't afford monthly subscriptions. And that Junior Members could join for free. This helped alleviate some of the expense and kept us afloat.,,Harmonica Club.com is a non profit organization and we need all the support we can get.
